CDP Events


    1. Strategic planning that gets implemented Monday, June 2, 2 PM EDT Creating a culture of planning is critical to the long-term health of a nonprofit. This session discusses building a long-term strategy that doesn’t sit on a shelf but is used to drive and fulfill mission and purpose.

    2. Board development and governance solutions Wednesday, June 11 at NOON EDT Strengthening a board starts by selecting the right people, onboarding them well, and ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to govern excellently. This session will provide practical steps to build a strong board to guide your nonprofit forward.

    3. Sustainable funding strategies beyond grants Thursday, June 26 at 3 PM EDT Grants can be a fantastic source of revenue for many nonprofits, but too many rely too heavily on them for support. Creating a funding strategy to support nonprofits beyond grants is critical to the long-term health of a nonprofit. This session will cover donor development, partnerships, legacy giving, and other ways to lean into community support beyond grants.

    4. Community engagement that builds real momentum Thursday, July 10 at 11 AM EDT Community engagement is hearing what a community needs and how to meet those needs. Finding innovative and effective strategies to reach into the community and hear the voices, ideas, and perspectives of those impacted by a nonprofit’s mission is critical. This session will explore best practices, creative ideas, and impactful ways to engage the community in the organization’s work.

    5. Measuring and communicating your true impact Monday, July 21 at 2 PM EDT Nonprofits prioritize mission over margin to meet needs and make an impact through purposeful work. This session will explore how to gather the correct quantitative and qualitative data to tell the nonprofit’s impact stories and ensure the mission is met with excellence. 

    6. Combatting Compassion Fatigue in self and others Thursday, August 7 at 11 AM, EDT Compassion fatigue is real. Feeling worn, weathered, and tired from compassionate work is something all nonprofit professionals can face. This session outlines the signs and symptoms of compassion fatigue and provides actionable steps to prevent burnout, lean into resilience, and promote contentment.
