Partnerships are Key.

NO ONE can do it alone. We can't build businesses alone. We can't forge a nonprofit alone. We need trusted partners -- people, organizations and businesses that help us grow, pivot, sell and expand. Who are your partners? Who are the people and organizations that you intentionally connect with to meet your goals? And...who are you helping, promoting and partnering with to help THEM achieve their goals? Partnerships are a two-way street and we need to be actively looking for ways to connect to be helped and help others.

I left a meeting this morning where I'm invigorated. It's a win-win-win for all three partners and those we serve. I appreciate OHIO CONFERENCE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION and Ohio CDC Association and the work they do across the State of Ohio to make a difference. We are embarking on a new partnership that will help all of us meet goals and expand our impact.

Our business development director is meeting this minute with DO MORE GOOD about their Nonprofit Hub platform to see how we might partner and connect.

I weekly connect with organizations and businesses through BNI Global to find ways to partner together. We pass business and referrals back and forth that strengthen each other's businesses and expand each other's networks.

My challenge for you today is to be intentional about partnering well. Look for opportunities to connect with others both to meet your goals and to meet theirs. Find someone today you think would be a great connection and reach out to make the contact. Partnership is key to success. Go partner well today.
