7 Soft Skills
Many professionals offer a list of key or priority soft skills. I have my own list of seven soft skills everyone should develop and seven additional essential soft skills for entrepreneurs. Let's start with the universal ones (in no particular order):
1. Teamwork. Working cooperatively and harmoniously with others is critical to being successful yourself.
2. Time Management. Learning to schedule and manage your time is essential to being effective and impactful personally and professionally.
3. Communication. Learning HOW and WHEN to communicate with others is SO important.
4. Self-Motivation. People motivated to do well, well, just do well. Those motivated only by externals are limiting their growth.
5. Strong Work Ethic. Work hard. Period.
6. Positive Attitude. Makes all the difference. You can't always control circumstances but you CAN control your attitude.
7. Self-confidence. Know what you know. Do what you can. Be confident in your ability to get it done.
