I'm grateful for our partners.
Each one doing their part to lift others is really how the work gets done. I can't begin to give an exhaustive list of the incredible organizations working to contribute to communities where everyone can thrive, but here is a highlight of organizations we partnered with in #2024.
GrantStation provides a tremendous resource to emerging, growing and thriving nonprofits. They have longevity, passion, commitment to excellence and broad reach. I'm grateful for their partnership and the impact they make serving nonprofits year over year. Thank you Alice Ruhnke & Jeremy Smith.
New Life Furniture Bank is an amazing resource, providing quality furniture to the most vulnerable in our community. We are amazed at the dignity they bestow on those they serve and the professionalism of their team. Housing the vulnerable is critical and providing furnishings to create a home is special. Thank you Dana Saxton.
Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) offers significant support and training to ministries in the field, doing the work without fanfare or recognition. Networking is challenging for grassroots organizations and CCDA has steadfastly provided a vehicle to connect and empower ministries across the US and across the globe.
Butler County, Ohio is local government at its finest. Compassionate conservatism is how I would describe their governance. They serve the most vulnerable, provide hquality of life for residents and promote business -- all on a balanced budget. Serving a complex community of urban, rural, and suburban is hard but they manage it with excellence. Thank you Judi C. Boyko ICMA-CM, Susan M. Ellerhorst, MPA & David Fehr, AICP.
Companions on a Journey Grief Support, Inc. has steadfastness, compassion and commitment to help the grieving. This nonprofit represents what is best about community based organizations. They recognized an unmet need and developed a nonprofit to meet it with grace and purpose. Thank you Sheila Munafo-Kanoza.
Coalition on Homelessness & Housing in Ohio (COHHIO) offers advocacy, expertise, administration and collaboration. Housing challenges in Ohio are significant and COHHIO is leading efforts to champion providers, pioneer solutions and make an impact with compassion, without compromising standards.
Whether its ministry, government, business, advocacy, grassroots nonprofits or conveners, the work of community organizations is valuable and necessary. We value those in the trenches doing their part to contribute to communities where everyone can thrive. Cheers to a successful year and cheers as we look forward to 2025.
