Keep going. So you didn't get a portion of Bezos' millions. Keep going. So your nonprofit was overshadowed by the overwhelming number of nonprofits' #givingTuesday campaigns. Keep going. You may not set records in resource development. Keep going. You may never be recognized with accolades and awards or featured in a magazine or local news show. Keep going.

Your work matters. If you help people, it matters. One of the reasons we focus on grassroots and community-based nonprofits is that is where impact happens. The small, community-based nonprofit needs to be strong and sustainable because it's in those places and spaces where most of the work is accomplished and where so many people are helped. #Giving and #contributing and #impact are rarely measured in the tangibles, the accolades, or the bottom line. But you ARE making a difference and your work matters. Chin up, nonprofit practitioner. Keep going. Even when it's hard. Even when no one seems to notice. Even in those long days and difficult seasons, keep going. We see you. We support you and we are here for you.
