Start. Strengthen. Grow.
Social entrepreneurs are generally in one or more of these phases of business. Start means getting the idea off the ground. Figure out where you are going (vision) and how you are going to get there (mission), what vehicle you are driving in (core values), and what the first stretch of road looks like (plan).
Strengthen means fortifying and readying the organization or business for the long-haul. What have you learned, what needs to change, where do you need to focus and what core competencies can you build on? Outline clear, actionable steps you can take to improve your infrastructure, your culture or your network.
Grow means preparing for more. Where can you gain more clients/customers or increase profit or impact more people? Define what growth looks like for your organization and strategize how you get there.
Remaining stagnant is not an option. Coasting or floating along or staying static or stationary is counterproductive to social entrepreneurship. Take inventory. Assess where you are. And on this beautiful Monday morning, commit to get started, strengthen your organization and/or prepare for growth. We're here to help.
