There aren't short cuts. If you are only watching someone cross a milestone marked as 'success' know that you aren't looking at the full path it took to get there. You control the discipline and perseverance 100%. Find yourself with less talent than your competition? Most of that gap can be filled with discipline and perseverance. Not getting the 'break' you need? Network, meet people, and build relationships and you'll see opportunities start coming your way. Remember most progress is under your control. Work it.
