There are so many creative minds in the field of community development. There are people who take risks, champion new ideas and provide opportunities for communities to thrive in ways they could only imagine.

As we at Community Development Professionals, LLC continue to focus efforts on affordable housing, we are uncovering new paths to #housing for everyone. There are innovators who are #building differently in cities across our country. There are ways of living in community that stretch our definitions of what permanent housing looks like. #Microcommunities, #cottagecommunities, #tinyhomes, #sharedhousing are some of the ideas that are gaining traction.

I applaud the pioneers who are leading the charge and #redefining the framework of where and how people can live safely. The housing crisis is real and everyone lives some place. Now is the time for the #creatives in affordable housing to shine. In this season of thanksgiving, I am thankful to you innovators among us for your tenacity, your ingenuity and our courage.
