Everyone. Not some, all.

Communities where everyone can thrive. Everyone. Not some, all.

We need strong nonprofit sectors. We need Nonprofits that can get organized, get funded and be sustainable. We need nonprofits that are responsive to community needs and are willing and equipped to meet those needs with excellence and passion.

We need housing. Everywhere. We need different ways to consider reasonable housing in our communities and neighborhoods. We need affordable rentals and we need affordable dwellings to own. We need to think creatively about how to house people in common spaces and unconventional lodging. We need creative leases and partnerships and collectives. Everyone lives some place and we are falling short in our communities.

We need better paths for small business and social enterprise. We need creative thinkers that help forge new paths to business ownership and livable wages while rewarding for hard work. We need to embrace the best of the reap-what-you-sow principle with equitable opportunity to make it happen.

We need more collective thinking to solve problems. We need collaborations and partnerships and each one bringing their perspectives and expertise to address our community challenges. We need strong community leaders that convene and resource and draw people to the table. We need strong community partnerships.

Communities where everyone can thrive. It's the CDP dream and it's our vision. These four areas are how we seek to make some progress. Thanks for being on this journey with us.
