Young Adult Children and Christmas.

Anyone with young adult children knows the struggles that come with buying gifts. What in the world do they need when they are adulting and living outside your home?? Four of our five kids are at this point in life. This year I pulled out my problem-solving hat and got creative using one of my favorite work tools (Survey Solutions) to help with the dilemma. I created a survey (https://tinyl.io/9qpo) and texted the link to my kiddos. It worked like a charm. Below are the survey questions I sent. Consider this my Christmas gift to those of you in my same parental boat:

Q1 Something I need is...
Q2 Something I would like to have that I would never buy for myself is...
Q3 My current sock condition is...
Q4 My favorite casual restaurant is...
Q5 Something I could use from the hardware store is....
Q6 $100 at Target would buy me...
Q7 I wish I had a subscription or membership to...
Q8 I wish I had tickets to....
Q9 If I could slip a note to Santa I would tell him I'd like....
Q10 Name

I got 100% return on the survey (pretty good return rate, eh?) FYI, I also included our holiday schedule in the opening paragraph of the survey (activities, planned events during the holiday season, times for present reveal, etc.).

To all of you who work so hard to make a difference through your work: Merriest of Christmases and Happiest of Holidays to you and yours. May this season find you merry and blessed.
