Love is a decision.

My favorite definition? Love is a choice to do good for another person regardless of what we feel. It is a decision to compassionately, responsibly, righteously, and sacrificially pursue the betterment of another person. Oh how things would be different if we applied this definition to our families, friends, work places and clients. I know we don't often think about customer service or client care in the context of 'love', but I think there's application here:

* Do I consistently look out for the welfare of others?
* Do I consider how my actions better my co-workers (regardless of how I feel about them)?
* Do I compassionately, responsibly, righteously, and sacrificially pursue the betterment of others inside and outside my organization?

I'm looking to ponder these questions as I start my week. Food for thought on this Monday morning.
